Process Post

At first I was thinking whether to go with the same project as last week or use a different project for this week.

Then I thought the Vending Machine project has more story to talk about.

While planning out the structure, I had a look at peers’ and professionals’ case studies and got some envision in writing the case study.

So here are my flows for the structure.

Draft: Structure Plan out

At first, I put the problem into the business plan section, but I made a separate section for problems encountered to offer a better story for readers. Also instead of Process, I renamed it to Journey: Build a System, since it is a journey to build a system and prototype. The revised heading would make it more engaging as they might wonder what happens during the journey of the project. Prototype: On Screen Experience, which is another name for Final Visual Prototype: Screen, emphasise the user experience while users are on the screen.

To emphasise key points, I used bold italic font which differentiates from regular text.

Moreover, I added the presentation video and process book for a summary of the process, which makes readers recap the long post.

For the captions on images, I indicated the viewing order for a group of multiple images. The clarification on the viewing order would make people not get confused while reading the post.
